Renee grew up in the rural community of Ether, North Carolina. She moved to Georgia in 2005. Renee and her husband, Michael, have been married for 12 years. They moved to Dawson County 10 years ago for the quality of life. They're the proud parents of a 5 year old son, Luke, who attends Robinson Elementary School.
Renee is a member of the Dawson County Republican Party and actively involved in the group of citizens who oppose Etowah Village. She also manages the blog, For the Love of Dawson.
Renee is an active member of Amicalola Baptist Church and loves helping with events such as VBS. She was a member of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) at First Baptist Church Dawsonville in 2014 and 2015. She also served on the MOPS Steering Team in 2015.
Renee spent most of her career in the dental field. Her experience includes managing a dental practice in Atlanta, teaching dental assisting students at a Community College, and working as a surgical assistant. Renee has enjoyed being a stay at home mom since having her son in 2014.
Renee loves spending time with her family outdoors. She enjoys traveling as well as boating and fishing, hiking, gardening and watching wildlife.
